Yes. Strongbox Security Services, LLC is fully licensed, bonded and insured to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

A Watch Guard license allows a business to conduct business as a security guard company. A Private Investigator license allows a company to conduct business both as a security guard and investigations company. Strongbox is licensed to do both.

Great question! Rates are based on several factors to include: location of service needed, type of service needed, length of contract, and number of security professionals or investigators needed. In addition to these factors, the dollar amount per hour that is being quoted or billed includes not only the person’s pay, but also administrative costs, liability insurance, worker’s compensation insurance, taxes to include payroll and income tax, tools and equipment, and overhead like phone, internet, office costs, vehicle costs, etc.

Yes. Our standard unarmed security guards are thoroughly vetted and receive training in our standard operating procedures, use of force, report writing, de-escalation techniques, and CPR/First Aid. Our premier unarmed security guards, who must possess a minimum of 5 years experience in law enforcement, the military, government, and/or security fields, receive the same training as our standard guards. In addition, they attend 40 hours of annual in-service training in specialized and detailed areas of the security industry. Our Armed Security Professionals, who possess the experience and training level of our standard and premier unarmed guards, must also be properly licensed to carry a firearm in Mass. and must pass the same firearms qualifications course that every Municipal Police Officer in Massachusetts must pass. They also receive a minimum of 40 hours of additional firearms-related training per year. We take our training very

Yes. For standard security contracts, our minimum is 4 hours. For Emergency callouts, the minimum is 8 hours. For investigations, we generally work on an hour to hour basis and usually require a retainer.

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Our office hours run Monday-Friday 8am-4pm but we can be reached 24 hours a day by phone.

That all depends upon the client. Once our standard service contract is signed and returned and we’ve received any upfront agreed-upon payments we will begin the process of filling the client’s request. Depending upon guard availability and site location, this process shouldn’t take too long.
